Before We Arrive
The more we know about how your home actually behaves, the better the system we spec for it. None of this is homework, just have it in your head.
- Make a list of the rooms that never feel right. The bedroom that is always hot, the basement that is always cold. That list changes what we recommend.
- Grab a recent utility bill or two, or just know roughly what a bad month costs you. It is the fastest way to talk honestly about payback.
- Know how old the equipment is if you can. There is usually a date on the label, and we will find it if you cannot.
- Clear access to the furnace, the outdoor unit, and the water heater. We measure, photograph, and check the hookups and the electrical.
- Unlock the attic or crawlspace if that is where anything runs. We may need a look.
- Have everyone who is part of the decision there if you can. Saves you repeating it all secondhand later.
- Write down your questions. Financing, timing, warranty, brands. Ask all of it.

We size it to your home
Measurements, ductwork, electrical, and the existing setup. A system that is the wrong size costs you money for the next fifteen years.
Options in writing
Usually a good, better, and best. Real numbers, installed, with the warranty spelled out. Nothing verbal.

- AC installs start at $5,800, installed by our own licensed crew and never subbed out.
- Standard tank water heater replacement is $1,600 flat, parts and labor in, old unit hauled away.
- 0% financing is available up to 18 months.
- Optional Comfort Shield parts and labor coverage, $499 to $1,299, can be added on install day.

How Long Does It Take?
Plan on about an hour. Bigger homes or a full system replacement with ductwork questions can run longer. If you are short on time, tell us when we get there and we will keep it tight.

Is the estimate really free?
Yes. Free, in your home, with no obligation and no fee if you decide not to move forward.
Will someone call me every day afterward?
No. We will follow up once to make sure you got the numbers and to answer questions. After that the ball is in your court.
Can you just quote it over the phone?
Not honestly. Sizing a system without seeing the home is how people end up with equipment that does not fit, and a number that changes on install day.
