Duct Daddy is a real KC family shop, not a franchise and not a lead site that sells your number. Karson Kolle started in HVAC at 17 working alongside his father-in-law. Today he owns Duct Daddy and sets the standard for every job that goes out under the logo.
He is a licensed mechanical and plumbing contractor, fully insured, and his wife Renee helps run the business behind the scenes. When we say family owned, we mean the whole family.
Every job gets the same treatment. Drop cloths down, shoe covers on, photos of the work from start to finish, and a flat price you approved before we started.

How much does duct cleaning cost in Kansas City?
Flat rate by square footage. $599 up to 1,000 sq ft, stepping up to $1,499 at 5,500 sq ft, and homes with two or more systems start at $1,199. That covers every supply, return, and trunk line in the home. No per vent surprises, no "well, once we got in there…" phone calls.
How often should air ducts be cleaned?
Every 1 to 2 years for most homes, and sooner after a renovation, a house that is new to you, or pets that shed like it is their job. Dryer vents should be cleaned every 12 months. Lint buildup is a real fire risk.
Do you do heating and cooling work too, or just ducts?
Both. Duct Daddy is a licensed mechanical contractor. Tune-ups, diagnostics, flat rate repairs, and full AC installs, one company for the whole system.
What areas do you serve?
The whole Kansas City metro, both sides of the state line. From Liberty down to Belton, Blue Springs across to Gardner. Not sure if you are in range? Call and ask.
Do you offer any discounts?
Military and first responders get 10% off any service. Active duty, veterans, police, fire, EMS, dispatchers, and corrections, no paperwork required. One discount per job, and it does not stack with other offers. Our maintenance plans carry their own year round perks.
When can you get here?
We run Monday through Saturday, 8am to 6pm, and you can grab a real time slot online right now. No "window between 8 and never."
What about after-hours emergencies?
If your heat dies at midnight in January, call us. After-hours diagnostics run $199 (8pm–7am and holidays). HVAC Plan and Complete Home members skip the after-hours surcharge entirely.
Do I pay anything when I book?
Nothing up front. We save a card on file to lock your slot, but you are charged only when the job is done and you have approved the work. The one exception is a $49 fee for no shows or same day cancellations, because that slot could have gone to a neighbor.
